This blog has come about because I love blogging (I have another blog called The Bare Threads where I write about my craft projects) and I love going on holiday. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to go traveling properly where you set off with a backpack and a plane ticket to exotic places to have adventures and try not get eaten by a bear. But I have been able to head off with a well packed suitcase with hotel reservations and a intricately organised itinerary! The list of countries I’ve visited is growing:

Coming from the UK it’s relatively easy for me to get to Europe so I anticipate more trips in that direction. But I loved to go back to America, go to Australia and New Zealand, and boyfriend would like to go to Asia so that might happen. But those are much more expensive trips for us to organise. I hope to write reviews of places I’ve been, tips for those of you planning trips to the same places, and perhaps some of my planning for future trips.
