Palermo, Sicily

Just a few shots of Palermo, the hustly bustly central city of Sicily. There were some beautiful buildings, many churches, theatres, statues etc

Palermo

We visited the Palazzo dei Normanni, unfortunately on a day the Royal Apartments were closed.  But we paid to see the fancy Chapel and art exhibition.  The Chapel was indeed fancy, covered in sparkly mosaics, it’s also small and takes literally three minutes to look at.  And the art on display was fairly terrible.  I can’t actually remember what we paid but whatever it was it was too much (about 8 euros?).
